The company plays a significant role while operating approximately 45 self-propelled barges per month between Dhaka – Khulna - Narayanginj – Mongla in Bangladesh to Kolkata- Haldia & back in the riverine route through Sundarban. This fleet is in operation throughout the year with routine practice under Indo-Bangladesh Protocol Treaty. The fleet alone carries almost 20% of different types of total export cargo. Apart from transportation, the company under one umbrella provides logistic services like Storing, Handling, Draught Survey, Clearing & Forwarding works.
We have very sound and healthy relation with many shipping companies and have long term Shipping Agency Agreement, with Bangladeshi companies which comprises of more than 100 barges of various types & capacities. They are Costal Barges, Cargo Hold Self Propelled Barges, Self Propelled Deck Loader, Oil Tanker etc. (Cargo carrying capacity running from 500 MT. to 2500 MT each).
Approximately Six ships, over 2000 M.T. each, container carrier are under construction(Keel Laid). Two of them are on the verge of completion. Barges are plying in the Indo-Bangla Protocol Route under our Flagship in India and involved in the transportation of cargo of various commodities like Wheat, Rice, Peas, Maize, Maize Starch, Chemicals, Steel Billets, High Dimensional cargo from Kolkata – Haldia – Mongla, Bangladesh, Khulna, Bangladesh, Narayangange, Bangladesh, Shirajganj, Ashuganj (Bangladesh), Pandu, Karimganj, Jogigopa. (Port of calls in NE provinces).
Having sound infrastructure facilities, and Licenses from Govt. Departments like Kolkata Port Trust, Haldia Port Trust, Inland Waterways Authority of India (Kolkata, Guwahati & Noida), Pollution certificates in Khiddipur & Haldia
Since our Inception we started with transportation of Rocks from Pakur to Bangladesh ,In the Last years we have shipped around 12 Lakh to 15 Lakh tonnes of Sponge Iron to Bangladesh for renowned Steel companies .In the Last years we have done Stevedoring , CHA and Road Transportation of 26 Lakh metric tonnage of Sponge Iron , Staples , Limepowder and rocks ,Current Projects include Sponge Iron Transportation , Staples Transportation through Vessel.
Associated as a Sole Consultant for MRS Oil and Gas Co. Ltd in Lagos, Nigeria, for Marine Construction, Dredging and Commissioning of 33,000 and 67,000 DWT Oil Jetty and setup of an Automated Oil Terminal with Throughput Storage Truck Out basis. Overall responsibility of Construction and Project Implementation of Kukrahati Mini Barge Terminal/Jetty.
